4 Strands of Developed Religion
Common tenets between all religions: awe (numinous) and righteousness/justice. The combining of the awesome gods and gods of justice is the third tenet - also common to most religions, particularly the Jews. Unique to Christianity is a man, claiming to be both numinous and the giver of the moral law. There is no middle ground: He is either a raving lunatic, or He is who He says that He is... and He has chosen each of us individually, and wants a relationship with us.
Born of woman, born of God
Sign of our victory over the world is to love God and love others; this especially honours our mothers who bore us. Claim to promise of the 5th commandment.
Meeting the Messiah
Induced labour in women is not as lovely as routine labour. In the same way, we must be induced into relationship with Christ. We are reduced to improved our flavour as salt of the earth. Only through this can we deduce the things of the Spirit.
